1) The chemicals started to be pushed to the surface by the water drainage or the recently flooded river from snowmelt.
2) A few of the health hazards associated with the love canal chemicals, were miscarriages, slight retardation, and asthma were only a few of the total hazards.
3) the ecosystem around the area was affected by the chemicals seeping into the nearby creeks, and water-ways and traveling downstream, and the chemicals seeping into the earth and killing plant life and underground eco-systems.
